S t a t e m e n t    o f    F a i t h

We Believe in one God, creator, infinite in love, forgiving and just. Unchanging in mercy and grace, God exists eternally in Three Persons; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

We Believe that Jesus Christ is the unique Son of God. Jesus was fully man and fully God, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He rose from the dead after three days, having conquered sin and death. He ascended into heaven where He intercedes for us to the Father. Jesus will return to reign forever.

We Believe that the Holy Spirit is equal with God the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit lives in every believer from the moment he/she accepts Jesus as Savior and Lord. The Holy Spirit convicts the believer of sin, enables understanding of the Scriptures, and empowers him/her to live a godly life.

We Believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God for all people. The Bible is flawless, trustworthy and is the supreme authority for life and faith.

We Believe that God created humanity in His image. We are the highest of God's earthly creation, designed to have a relationship with God. Because of sin, we have been alienated from God and we are all in need of God's redemptive work to restore the relationship God intended.

We Believe that salvation is the gift of God's grace and mercy. It cannot be earned or added to by good works. All who repent and believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are forgiven of their sins, born into new life in the family of God and receive the gift of eternal life.

We Believe in the priesthood of all believers, the unity of the Body of Christ and the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry.
